Microchanneling for Hair Regrowth
Microchanneling for hair regrowth is a noninvasive procedure designed to activate and nourish dormant stem cells with select growth factors that are naturally present in young healthy follicles.
With age, DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) often puts the hair follicles into a telogen “sleeping” phase. Microchanneling uses small filaments to penetrate the outer layer of the skin (epidermis) with an FDA-approved device called Procell. This ultimately reduces the rate of hair loss and promotes new hair growth, increases fullness and density, and improves overall hair texture. A 2021 review found that it may be more effective at increasing hair growth than minoxidil.
How Do Stem Cells Assist Healing?

Are there any contraindications?

Examples include but are not limited to active radiation or chemotherapy, uncontrolled diabetes, chronic inflammatory skin disease, Accutane in the past 2 years, hemophilia or similar bleeding disorder. Also anyone with stainless steel allergies should not do this treatment. We also discourage treatments for those who are pregnant or nursing.
