Refine lines and wrinkles while accentuating your features

As we age, specific areas of our skin may experience a loss of volume and firmness, resulting in hollowness, lines, and folds. This decline is attributed to the diminishing production of collagen and elastin in the skin, leading to reduced structural integrity and support. To effectively address these concerns and enhance distinct features, consider our dermal fillers available in Sugar Land, Texas.

Facial structure and definition

Dermal fillers are adept at crafting a rejuvenated and uplifted visage, enhancing cheek structure for a refined cheekbone aesthetic and smoothing laugh lines. In a survey, 89% of patients reported feeling less fatigued post-treatment.

  • The injectable cosmetic procedure is swift, relatively painless, and secure when administered by a seasoned, licensed practitioner.
  • Hyaluronic acid fillers closely resemble the natural chemicals found in our bodies, facilitating natural absorption over time and minimizing the risk of allergic reactions. Additionally, they offer the convenience of easy reversibility with hyaluronidase, an enzyme that breaks down HA, in case the results are unsatisfactory.
  • Results are immediate, typically accompanied by minimal downtime, aside from potential bruising and swelling.
  • Dermal fillers receive a commendable 93% Worth It Rating from RealSelf members. Many report feeling more refreshed with under-eye fillers, achieving their desired lip augmentation, or appreciating their enhanced facial contours.

Dermal Filler Options

Our master injector meticulously selects the optimal injection sites and fillers to achieve your desired treatment outcomes. We may recommend combining fillers with BOTOX® Cosmetic injections for enhanced facial rejuvenation. Here are some filler options:

JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®, and Restylane® Silk: These popular wrinkle fillers are formulated with non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (NASHA), providing a supportive structure under the skin’s surface and attracting moisture molecules to hydrate the skin. While each product serves various purposes, including wrinkle smoothing and lip sculpting, they all deliver safe and enduring results.

JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA XC: Ideal for our Houston patients seeking to replenish or augment facial volume in the cheek area, VOLUMA XC offers long-lasting results, with effects potentially lasting up to 2 years, and includes lidocaine for increased comfort during treatment.

JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC: Specifically designed for lip enhancement, VOLBELLA XC effectively adds volume, shape, and definition to thin or wrinkled lips, and can diminish the appearance of perioral lines for up to 1 year.

JUVÉDERM VOLUX® XC: Tailored to lift and refine the jawline and chin, VOLUX XC enhances facial contour and definition, with results potentially lasting more than 2 years with optimal treatment.

Restylane® Lyft (formerly Perlane): FDA-approved for cheek augmentation and nasolabial fold correction, Restylane Lyft is a hyaluronic acid-based filler infused with lidocaine for enhanced comfort during treatment.

What are dermal fillers, and how do they improve skin appearance?

Dermal fillers, comprised of gel-like substances, are adept at replenishing lost volume, refining lines, mitigating creases, and augmenting facial contours through subcutaneous injection. Annually, over 1 million individuals, both men and women, opt for this widely favored treatment, offering a cost-effective avenue to achieve a youthful appearance sans surgery or associated downtime.

What should I tell my doctor before getting Dermal Fillers?

Inform your doctor of all medications you are currently taking, including supplements. Blood-thinning substances such as prescription drugs, aspirin, or ibuprofen can prolong bruising. It's typically advised to discontinue blood thinners two weeks prior to receiving an injection, as recommended by most physicians.

How long do dermal fillers last?

The duration of your dermal fillers' efficacy depends upon the treated area(s) and your skin's condition. Typically, clients experience results lasting between 6 months to 1.5 years.

How much do dermal filler injections cost?

Our pricing for dermal fillers is determined by the units utilized during treatment. Recognizing the uniqueness of each individual and their specific requirements, our nurse injector will conduct a personalized consultation to tailor a treatment plan that aligns perfectly with your needs.

When will I see results from dermal fillers?

Immediate results are observable following dermal filler treatment, albeit accompanied by potential temporary swelling. The full efficacy of your dermal fillers becomes apparent after several days, once any swelling has diminished.

What should I do after getting dermal fillers?
    • Refrain from excessive movement or massage of the treated area, unless specifically advised by your provider.
    • Avoid strenuous exercise for the first 24 hours post-treatment.
    • Minimize exposure to intense sun or heat for 72 hours following the procedure.
    • Limit consumption of alcohol and salty foods to prevent excessive swelling.
    • If swelling occurs, apply a cool compress for 15 minutes hourly.
    • Use Tylenol to alleviate any discomfort.
    • When resting, try to sleep facing upward and with a slight elevation to reduce swelling.
    • Consider taking Arnica supplements to alleviate bruising and swelling; it's recommended to begin at least two days before undergoing injections.
How should I prepare before my injection treatment?
    • Refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours beforehand, as alcohol can thin the blood and heighten the risk of bruising.
    • Avoid anti-inflammatory/blood-thinning medications, ideally for two weeks preceding treatment. This includes medications and supplements such as aspirin, vitamin E, ginkgo Biloba, ginseng, St. John's Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil supplements, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve, and other NSAIDS, which can exacerbate bruising and swelling post-injection.
    • Schedule your Dermal Filler appointment a minimum of two weeks prior to any special event, like a wedding or vacation, to mitigate the possibility of noticeable bruising and swelling during that period.
    • Discontinue Retin-A two days before and two days after treatment. If you develop a rash, cold sore, or blemish in the treatment area, reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance.
    • Ensure you have a substantial breakfast, including food and drink, before your procedure to reduce the likelihood of lightheadedness during treatment.
    • Please note, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you are not a suitable candidate for treatment.
    Is a consultation required?

Botox® and Dysport® are prescription-only medications. Prior to undergoing any anti-wrinkle injection procedures, a consultation is mandatory. This involves completing a comprehensive personal and medical history consent form. Following this, your nurse injector will conduct a thorough review of your medical background and provide insights into the achievable results of the treatment. Upon medical clearance and mutual agreement on a treatment strategy, you have the option to proceed with the treatment on the same day or schedule it for a more suitable time.

What's the difference between dermal fillers and Botox?

Both Botox and Dysport are classified as neurotoxins, employed to temporarily alleviate muscle contractions responsible for wrinkle formation. Dermal fillers, on the other hand, serve to fill lines and wrinkles, restore volume to depleted areas, and accentuate specific features, resulting in a more pronounced and defined appearance.
